We start with a private journaling layer, using written word to explore concepts of release and potential. While studying live florals, you will be guided to translate observation into abstracted colors, shapes and marks - focusing on your individual expression rather than precise replication. We'll then introduce the technique of blind contour ink drawing to lay down an unfiltered line that contrasts the vibrant under layer.
