Messy Memberships

1. What will I get as part of my membership?

   With a Membership, you’ll have access to our entire Get Messy Library of standard classes and seasons (both old and new!) as well as past workshops, our private Get Messy Community and clubs, artist dates, messy hangouts, future live Zoom workshops, other virtual gatherings throughout the year, and more! This membership is most comparable to the Get Messy Membership of days past, before launching our new site.

   Want to get a little messier?! With a Membership+, you'll get everything mentioned above AND access to all premium classes, bonus monthly prompt worksheets, recorded replays of our future live Zoom workshops, FREE digital ephemera monthly, and access to sneaks & deals throughout the year!

2. Where do I find my Membership+ extras?

   Access to all recorded workshops | Find recorded workshops within one week after the live event in the My Classes section of your dashboard.

   Bonus prompt every month | Download each season’s bonus prompt from the Downloads tab of that season’s GM+ Workshop. The workshop will become available within one week of the season’s opening hangout, and you’ll be able to find it in the My Classes section of your dashboard. Once in the workshop, look for the Downloads tab at the top of the classroom!

   Digital Ephemera once a month | Download each season’s bonus digital ephemera from the Downloads tab of that season’s GM+ Workshop. The workshop will become available within one week of the season’s opening hangout, and you’ll be able to find it in the My Classes section of your dashboard, and look for the Downloads tab at the top of the classroom!

3. How much does a membership cost?

   We offer Membership options to fit every budget and season of art! Find all the details on our Membership options here!

4. When will I be billed for my membership?

   For a monthly Membership or Membership+, your credit/debit card or PayPal account will be billed on the day in which you sign up for a membership and the same day each month thereafter. Any membership started between the 29th and 31st will be first billed on that day, but will be billed on the 1st in subsequent months.

   For a yearly Membership or Membership+, your credit/debit card or PayPal account will be billed on the day in which you sign up for a membership and the same date each year thereafter.

5. Can I use PayPal for my membership?

   Yes! Just select the "Use PayPal" option during membership signup. 

   PLEASE NOTE: If your PayPal membership transitioned to our new site from the old one, you'll be prompted to set up a new PayPal agreement when it's time for your first payment on the new site. If you'd like to be ahead of the game, you can set up your new PayPal agreement here at any time! 

6. How do I update my payment information?

   You can update your payment method through your account here. Just click on “update” under your payment method.

7. What happens to my class progress if I cancel my membership?

   It is saved and you can pick up where you left off if you reinstate your membership!

8. Can I cancel my Membership?

   While we'd hate to see you go, you can cancel your Membership any time without incurring any cancellation fees. To do so, click “cancel” next to your membership details on your account page, under "Orders & Membership".

Orders and Billing

1. What forms of payment do you accept?

   We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club cards. Debit cards that are backed by any of the above listed cards are accepted as well. You may change your billing information at any time by accessing your account preferences.

   PLEASE NOTE: If your PayPal membership transitioned to our new site from the old one, you'll be prompted via a “payment failed” email to set up a new PayPal agreement when it's time for your first payment on the new site. If you'd like to be ahead of the game, you can set up your new PayPal agreement here at any time!

2. Can I use PayPal for my membership?

   Yes! Just select the "Use PayPal" option during membership signup.

3. How do I make changes in my shipping or billing information?

   If you need to update your information on your account, please do so go to your account page. Please know order information cannot be edited once orders have been placed – this includes email, shipping address, shipping service, and order contents.

4. Will I be charged sales tax?

   Customers who live in the following states will have sales tax listed at checkout as a separate line item: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY. These taxes are imposed by the state on the purchase of goods and services and are not limited to Get Messy. The applicable rate is set by each state respectively.

5. What are the terms for Preordering?

   Please read all terms thoroughly before agreeing to purchase via the Preorder system. Any cancellation of a Preordered item will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee, unless a different amount is stipulated in the terms of the agreement. All preorders are non-refundable. Discounts may not be applied to preorder items.

   Please read all terms thoroughly before agreeing to purchase via the Preorder system. Once an item has been Preordered, you have agreed to purchase that particular item. All preorders are non-refundable. Discounts may not be applied to preorder items.

Shipping and Returns

1. When will my order ship?

   Please note shipping timeframes do not include time needed to fulfill your order. Orders may take up to 3-5 business days to be fulfilled and shipped. You can view our shipping policies here.

   Preorder items will note their shipping timeframes in the item's description in the shop, as well as on the checkout + order confirmation pages and in your order confirmation email.

2. How much is shipping?

   Shipping rates for items from the shop will vary by service type and weight/size of order. Refer to the checkout page for accurate shipping and handling amounts. More shipping information can be found here.

3. What is the return policy?

   Please review all items carefully before a purchase is made as all sales are final, including orders not yet shipped. All items in your cart are listed for review before purchase. In addition, completed orders are listed on your account under My Orders. Please review those items, as these terms apply to duplicate items as well.

4. How will my order be shipped?

   Though we use a variety of shipping methods, our two primary methods of shipping are United States Postal Service and UPS. The shipping method used for each order will be determined by several factors including the weight/size of your package, the type of package, and the shipping destination. Please note shipping timeframes do not include time needed to fulfill your order. 5. I haven't received my order. What now?

   Please review your shipping address on your order details to ensure all information is correct. For domestic orders with economy service, we can declare a package as lost or missing once it has been 30 days post shipment date. 

   Please note that it may take longer than usual for your order to arrive. International economy shipping service is experiencing transit and delivery delays. Both shipping and customs processes are backlogged at this time. Because of this, we are not deeming orders lost in the normal 45 day period. We are asking for more time for these packages to make their way to you before declaring them lost. If you never receive your package, we will absolutely honor our lost parcel policy.
